Job Summary

Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in an autonomous environment. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide specialized care for patients pre and post electrophysiology procedures, including EP studies, ablations, and CIED implantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality patient assessment and management under indirect physician supervision, practicing evidence-based medicine.
  • Manage patient care autonomously on designated outpatient clinics and associated follow-up with indirect Electrophysiologist supervision as needed.
  • Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
  • Participate in trials and undergo appropriate training.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Holds current license from the Georgia State Composite Board.
  • BLS/ACLS certified.
  • Minimum 2 years of general cardiology or 1 year of prior EP experience.
