Job Overview

POSITION TITLE: Manufacturing Analyst

REPORTS TO: VP of Manufacturing

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The individual in this role will be tasked with the upkeep and enhancement of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within a production setting, ensuring that the MES aligns with the operational requirements and strategic goals of the organization. This position also involves the creation and management of process-related ISO-controlled documentation, along with the generation of various operational status and performance reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Configure, maintain, and optimize manufacturing Resource Management workflows in Epicor Kinetics/MES to fulfill company objectives.

2. Develop and maintain Resources/Resource Groups and Bill of Operations in MES for both existing and new assets and part numbers, coordinating all necessary information with the Manufacturing Engineering team.

3. Oversee Job Completion activities in MES; identify issues, variances, or concerns and initiate appropriate problem-solving measures.

4. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT/IS to address variances and other MES-related challenges.

5. Produce and maintain various operational reports, scorecards, dashboards, etc., related to quality, production output, inventory levels, and customer job/order status.

6. Engage in and assist with MES user-acceptance testing or validation for future Epicor/Kinetics releases as necessary.

7. Advocate for continuous improvement in business processes and related MES processes. Document best practices and update associated MES or process documentation accordingly.

8. Document and manage work instructions and SOPs as required for ISO compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A minimum of a two-year degree in business, technology, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

2. Experience in setting up and maintaining data inputs for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), with a preference for familiarity with Epicor Kinetics.

3. At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in roles related to operations, quality, or engineering.

4. Proven experience in continuous improvement and formal problem-solving methodologies.

5. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
