We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our healthcare team at Opelousas General Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the overall mission of our organization.
The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice.
Our comprehensive benefits package includes a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. We also offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Louisiana
- Basic life support certification
- Two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
