Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Firelands Health. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians during cardiovascular procedures.

• Provide professional, highly technical cardiovascular care to patients, while assisting physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.
• Function as a liaison for patients, families, and physicians, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
• Assist with setting up cardiac cath lab procedure rooms, providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Operate technical equipment utilized during procedures, including pressure monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, sterile technique, and radiation safety practices.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to determine and achieve healthcare goals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiovascular advances in equipment and procedures, maintaining a minimum of 24 CEU hours per 2-year period.

• Current Radiologic Technologic licensure in the State of Ohio with experience in cath lab.
• Attain and maintain current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to respond appropriately to emergent situations.
• Skilled in interpersonal communication and organization to effectively interact with patients, physicians, cath lab staff, and other Firelands employees.
