AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient part-time capacity. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position working days, with a schedule of 8:00am-4:30pm Thursday and Friday, and one weekend day per month. You will be working at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a leading healthcare provider in the Kansas City area.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the best course of treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and education
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current Kansas Physical Therapist License
  • BCLS certification
