Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Processor to join our team at Toyota of Hemet. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for processing vehicle transactions and handling legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Responsibilities:
* Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state where they will be titled.
* Prepare tax and title documents.
* Submit legal transfer work to the DMV.
* Verify collected funds and lienholder payments before processing title applications.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of application information.
* Bill out dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin.
* Maintain a system for verifying out-of-state titles.
* Report status of missing or problem titles to management.
* Sign over titles for wholesalers who have paid in full.
* Update stock information for vehicles.
* Post vehicle sales and purchases.
* Stay informed about title regulations and conduct training sessions.
* Cross-train others to handle title clerk responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Associate degree or equivalent, or minimum three years of related experience.
* Bachelor's degree or one to two years of related experience.
Salary:
$25-$29/hr
