Job Summary:

The Ambulatory Care Provider, CNM/ARNP is responsible for leading the management of nurse midwifery protocols, incorporating primary care evaluation, assessment, treatment, and referral to patients. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in providing cost-effective, quality care that meets established clinical and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in ensuring the model of OH health care is applied, focused on ambulatory care of women and newborns with an emphasis on health promotion, education, and disease prevention.
  • Provide surgical assistance and ultrasound services, work a rotation schedule, and participate in office practice call.
  • Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Nursing as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the nurse Midwife category. You should also be certified as a Nurse-midwifery certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) renewed every 5 years, current active certification and licensure in the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the nurse midwifery category renewed every two (2) years, and maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; and NRP certification.
