Key Responsibilities
We are expanding our team and seeking Safety and Security Specialists. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.
- Performing general security duties as required.
- Maintaining vigilance to identify, address, and report any potential hazards.
- Adhering to DSI and client protocols, including specific post instructions.
- Participating in training sessions to familiarize yourself with safety procedures and the DSI safety manual.
- Engaging professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A customer service-oriented mindset.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- The capability to conduct routine foot patrols and perform moderate lifting.
- The ability to work in various weather conditions.
Pre-employment Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation and communication means.
- Pass all necessary background checks and drug screenings.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive rate of $14 per hour.
Education and Certification
Required qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Valid State of Texas Security License.
