Job Overview

Coconut Point Ford is seeking a skilled individual for a fulfilling career in the automotive sector.


Role Summary

The Automotive Parts Sales Associate delivers exceptional service to both walk-in and phone customers. This role requires the ability to effectively respond to inquiries and meet customer demands. The Associate proficiently utilizes the Reynolds and Reynolds computer system to identify and source automotive components from the inventory. Additionally, they will go beyond the available stock to find parts that are not currently in inventory and arrange for their swift delivery. Close collaboration with dealership technicians is essential to ensure that necessary parts are provided for Service Center repairs.


Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must fulfill Coconut Point Ford's employment criteria
  • Capability to read and understand instructions and information
  • Experience in a dealership setting is mandatory
  • Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs is preferred
  • Able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous
  • Automotive HAZMAT certification is desirable
  • Knowledge of Ford Parts warranty retention and return policy is a plus
  • Proficient in using parts department computer systems and calculators
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation
