Job Summary

As an Operations Agent with Swissport International AG, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground handling, cargo handling, and passenger services. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ramp offload and loading activities to ensure timely and efficient aircraft turnaround.
  • Prepare flight documents, including flight plans, weather briefings, and NOTAMs, to support safe and efficient flight operations.
  • Monitor and report on flight status, including arrival and departure times, to ensure accurate flight planning and scheduling.
  • Accurately prepare and send load management and cargo planning messages to ensure compliance with carrier standards.
  • Post-flight review of flight folders to ensure all required documents are present and checklists are complete.
  • Complete load planning, including cargo and baggage, to ensure accurate weight and balance calculations.
  • Maintain personal qualifications in weight and balance, dangerous goods, and other required areas.
  • Coordinate fueling activities and liaise with fuelers to ensure efficient and safe fueling operations.
  • Liaise with catering companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of catering services.
  • Coordinate boarding of passengers with cabin and flight crew to ensure smooth and efficient passenger handling.
  • Verify baggage reconciliation prior to departure to ensure accurate and efficient baggage handling.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum six months of experience in a related field, preferably in aviation or logistics.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Internal and external customer relations skills to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
