As an Operations Agent with Swissport International AG, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground handling, cargo handling, and passenger services. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate ramp offload and loading activities to ensure timely and efficient aircraft turnaround.
- Prepare flight documents, including flight plans, weather briefings, and NOTAMs, to support safe and efficient flight operations.
- Monitor and report on flight status, including arrival and departure times, to ensure accurate flight planning and scheduling.
- Accurately prepare and send load management and cargo planning messages to ensure compliance with carrier standards.
- Post-flight review of flight folders to ensure all required documents are present and checklists are complete.
- Complete load planning, including cargo and baggage, to ensure accurate weight and balance calculations.
- Maintain personal qualifications in weight and balance, dangerous goods, and other required areas.
- Coordinate fueling activities and liaise with fuelers to ensure efficient and safe fueling operations.
- Liaise with catering companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of catering services.
- Coordinate boarding of passengers with cabin and flight crew to ensure smooth and efficient passenger handling.
- Verify baggage reconciliation prior to departure to ensure accurate and efficient baggage handling.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum six months of experience in a related field, preferably in aviation or logistics.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Internal and external customer relations skills to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
