Requirements
  • Current MO RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Stepdown or ICU
  • Experience in post-operative care and critical thinking
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records. Nurses may be required to float to other departments as needed based on patient acuity.

Patient Care Details

The unit typically handles a variety of patients, including those recovering from high-acuity surgeries and trauma cases. Patient ratios are generally 1:3 or 1:4, with adjustments made based on circumstances.
