Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill a part-time Substitute Custodian Worker position within our team. As a Substitute Custodian Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial duties as needed, including cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, hallways, and other areas of the school.
  • Assist with bus aide duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
  • Provide clerical support as needed, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the school's facilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by the state of Alabama and the state board of education.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
