Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our collection center, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the break room, donor waiting area, and other common areas
  • Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and remove trash
  • Clean windows and doors daily
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing ceiling tiles
  • Monitor the grounds and parking lots, picking up litter as needed
  • Assist with recycling and repackaging of shipping materials
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, replacing paper and soap supplies as needed
  • Receive and move supplies from storage to released and quarantined areas
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring sufficient operating supplies and forms are available
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum three months experience as a custodian preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation
