Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide high-quality care to designated residents, administering medications and treatments as needed, and documenting patient information accurately. Additionally, the Registered Nurse will report findings and observations to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager, and demonstrate knowledge of basic test/lab collection values and deliver direct resident care consistent with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care, including administering medications and treatments, and documenting patient information accurately.
- Report findings and observations to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality care to designated residents.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic test/lab collection values and deliver direct resident care consistent with policies and procedures.
- Prepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient and competency of personnel.
- Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care provided.
- Assure documentation records are completed for CNAs.
- Is punctual and/or provides proper notification for lateness or absenteeism.
- Current and good standing RN License in State of New York.
- Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
- Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly.
- Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
