Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at Plum Creek Recovery Ranch. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide counseling and support to patients struggling with substance abuse disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients, utilizing solution-focused therapy strategies to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with treatment team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for each patient.
  • Assist in case management and discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients back into their communities.
  • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly, adhering to facility and licensing standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management, and discharge planning.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPR certification, de-escalation training, and CPI training.
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, including weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
