Job Summary

Quad is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in the Offset and Gravure department at Quad Lomira. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press equipment to customer-supplied specifications, while maintaining production and ensuring quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate press equipment to customer-supplied specifications
  • Maintain production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality
  • Ensure cleanliness and mechanical maintenance of press equipment
  • Supervise direct reports on press, including giving direction, training, and monitoring work of press crew
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Perform proper and required maintenance and cleaning of press equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years solid work history operating a printing press
  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, and up to 70 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand long hours (12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Previous print industry experience required
