We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aspire Educational Services.
Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will work with students in a PreK-12 school setting to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and help them achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities, sensory processing, and fine motor skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and help them achieve their educational goals in accordance with their IEP.
- Collaborate with other members of the student's education team to provide comprehensive care.
- Install necessary equipment in the classroom for students with disabilities and teach them how to use the equipment.
- Observe and assess students' progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Experience in a PreK-12 school setting.
- Possible Covid-19 testing and/or vaccination required by school.
- Valid Driver's License, proof of registration and insurance.
- Must have current (or be able to clear) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.
