Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical and controls design on product improvements for our manufactured product lines.

Responsibilities

* Provide electrical and controls design on product improvements for electrical and controls infrastructure of our manufactured product lines
* Coordinate site-wide drawings as applicable per site/project
* Ensure that our equipment/sites/projects are being built and/or applied per engineering documents, manufacturing and other required standards, such as UL and NEC
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure projects are on time and with quality
* Inspect products in-progress in manufacturing
* Proficient with 2-D (AutoCAD) AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software
* Knowledgeable of UL, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards

Requirements

* Engineering Degree required
* Minimum 2 years of related experience required
* Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with a desire for continuous improvement
* Detail-oriented and accurate and a positive can-do attitude
* Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 from home)
