In this position, you will have the opportunity to support a business that has evolved since its inception into one of the largest concrete subcontractors in the nation, with our construction experts managing over 200 projects that encompass more than 20 million gross square feet annually. Your contributions will help us blend the resources of a large corporation with the agility of a smaller firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and estimating phases of projects to ensure the incorporation of the most efficient, safe, and cost-effective form systems into the project design.
- Support the creation of precise formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field teams.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to monitor safety, costs, and schedules of construction projects.
- Identify and resolve issues related to structural design in collaboration with the project team.
- Help prepare quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Assist in coordinating material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Engage in special projects and fulfill additional duties as assigned to support the organization.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective interaction with all organizational levels, customers, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and organize substantial amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite productivity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and relevant OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to travel and work on projects outside of the home office for extended periods.
