Security Officer

The Security Officer is a vital member of our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols of the resort premises to identify and address potential security risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, including accidents, thefts, and disturbances, and provide assistance to guests and employees as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with management, staff, and guests to ensure a smooth and secure operation, and collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record and report incidents, security breaches, and other relevant information to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of security experience, or three years of military service
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions and potential security risks. You will be required to stand, walk, and talk for extended periods, and may be required to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
