We have both full-time and part-time roles across various locations in North Carolina.
Immediate openings are available for Certified ARRT X-ray technicians. Rapid Radiology is a leading provider of mobile radiology services in North Carolina and beyond.

This position requires travel to different facilities, which may involve driving or flying to designated service areas. All business-related expenses, including accommodations, airfare (if necessary), transportation, and meals, will be covered.

*Career Opportunity Locations include - Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Jacksonville, Greensboro, Asheville, and Winston-Salem.*

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clearly explaining procedures to patients
  • Properly positioning patients for imaging
  • Utilizing radiation protection devices, such as lead shields
  • Adjusting X-ray equipment to the correct angle and height for optimal imaging
  • Setting controls on the X-ray machine to achieve the desired density, detail, and contrast in images
  • Placing exposure boards appropriately for examinations
  • Demonstrating computer proficiency
  • Transmitting images using a web-based PACS system
  • Following physician instructions accurately
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring equipment is in good working order
  • Willingness to travel to various service locations
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary
  • Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record
