Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Judgment: Utilize your expertise to conduct thorough clinical assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Clinical Inquiry: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practice, and implement evidence-based changes.
  • Caring Practices: Create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, promoting comfort, dignity, and respect.
  • Response to Diversity: Recognize and appreciate the unique differences of patients and families, incorporating their values, beliefs, and preferences into care plans.
  • Advocacy and Moral Agency: Preserve patient confidentiality, autonomy, and dignity, advocating for their rights and interests.
  • Facilitation of Learning: Educate patients, families, and staff on health promotion, disease prevention, and management, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop and implement integrated care plans, leveraging resources and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Systems Thinking: Apply problem-solving strategies to address patient, family, and staff needs, considering safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: 1+ year of RN experience in the US, with scrub and circulate experience
  • Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
