Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
  • Provide therapy services to students individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and ensure effective communication.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Texas state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
