Traveling Pipefitter

Robinson Construction is seeking a skilled Traveling Pipefitter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial pipe systems in various manufacturing facilities across the United States.

• Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute pipe system layouts and installations.
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes to specifications using various tools and equipment.
• Lay out and install pipe systems, supports, and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect and test installed systems to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and equipment as needed.
• Select and procure pipe materials and equipment according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality results.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; four or more years of journeyman pipefitting experience preferred.
• Industrial machine licenses (e.g., forklift license) and OSHA 10 or MSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

• May be exposed to fumes, dust, and other airborne particles.
• May be exposed to loud noises and work near moving mechanical parts.
• May be required to work in extreme outside conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity or cold and wet conditions.
