We are seeking a skilled Wine Steward to join our team at Water Grill Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales and provide exceptional wine service to guests, showcasing in-depth knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and pairings.
- Ensure seamless wine ordering and serving processes, maintaining accurate inventory levels and performing restocking tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests, recognizing their preferences and making tailored recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of wine glassware, decanting techniques, and proper pouring procedures.
- Premium hourly rate ($16-$16.50) plus commission on bottle sales.

- Minimum age: 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Level 1 Court of Masters certification or WSET level 2 equivalent required.
- Current California Food Handler's Card necessary.

- Ability to add guest notes to OpenTable database and maintain accurate records.
Estimated annual salary range: $38,000 - $42,000. Based on location and experience.
