Job Description

As an Interim ESL Teacher with Roane County Schools, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their English language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students.
  2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language learning.
  3. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional methods.
  5. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and implement new strategies to enhance student learning.

Requirements:

  • Valid Tennessee Teaching License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Terms of Employment:

200 days, salary and work year to be established by the Board.
