**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide respiratory therapy care to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practice.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide respiratory therapy care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and other therapeutic interventions.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests and blood gas analyses, to assess patient respiratory status.

- Operate complex medical equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.

**Requirements:**

- AA degree or specialized training in Respiratory Therapy.

- Registered through National Board Respiratory Care Registration and the State of Alabama.

- 2 years of experience preferred.

**Compensation:** The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
