Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Allied Universal. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring that our spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of janitorial staff to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure that facilities are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and that inventory levels are adequate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Ensure that all cleaning operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. facilities management, hospitality) preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a janitorial or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
