As a Technical Commissioning Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' systems.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Commissioning Expert to join our team. This role involves working with various engine control and PLC systems, commissioning gensets on customer sites, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. You will also be responsible for identifying and repairing problems, completing tune-ups, and accurately documenting services performed.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Load test new gensets/CHP systems
* Commission gensets on customer sites
* Work with various engine control and PLC systems
* Identify and repair problems with electrical and mechanical systems
* Complete tune-ups and/or repairs identified during the diagnostic process
* Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC controls and equipment
* Accurately document services performed

**Requirements**

* Basic knowledge of PLC/Logic & HMI programming
* Basic knowledge of AC systems up to 13,800 VAC, including electrical fundamentals and safe work practices
* Basic knowledge of DC systems fundamentals and work practices
* Knowledge of generators, gaseous engines, controls, and systems
* Understanding of basic operation of transfer switches and switchgear
* Ability to understand wiring diagrams, motors, and transformers
* Ability to use diagnostic software to identify and repair deficiencies
* Ability to work safely around electrical components
* Ability to complete jobs assigned with little to no supervision
* Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communications
* Ability and desire to participate in educational opportunities/training and reading technical and regulatory publications
* Basic computer skills (MS Office, emails, typing, etc.)
