We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at Provo Canyon School, a leading provider of psychiatric residential treatment for adolescents. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing recreation therapy programs that promote the social, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our patients.

• Design and lead recreation therapy programs that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, including sports, nature study, therapeutic, and social activities.
• Ensure the safety of patients during activities and maintain a safe environment at all times.
• Conduct initial and periodic follow-up assessments to identify patient recreation therapy needs and ensure that these needs are addressed as part of the treatment team.

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy with a State of Utah license and/or National certification (e.g., TRS, CTRS).
• Familiarity with medical/psychological terminology, human behavior, and principles of psychology.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including traveling and overnight events.
• Valid and clear UT drivers license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass background check and drug screen.
