Job Title: Mixer Driver

We are seeking a skilled Mixer Driver to join our team at Gary Merlino Construction Group.

Job Summary:

The Mixer Driver will be responsible for operating a mixer truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a Class A or B license and 1-3 years of experience in heavy civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a mixer truck to deliver concrete to construction sites
  • Back the truck into a stall or drive up to a platform to rinse off the truck before leaving the yard
  • Use a scraper to dislodge mud from the barrel and chutes
  • Assemble and disassemble concrete chutes as needed
  • Carry bags of cement or buckets of cement additives to the truck and place them on a shelf
  • Perform routine maintenance on the truck and equipment
Requirements:
  • Class A or B license
  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy civil construction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
