Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of land for crop planting, including soil preparation and fertilization.
  • Develop and implement effective weed control and pest management strategies.
  • Monitor and maintain crop health, including disease management and crop rotation.
  • Assist in the harvesting and storage of crops, including grain handling and storage.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors and other machinery.
  • Collaborate with the farm management team to develop and implement sustainable farming practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in agronomy and farm operations, preferably in organic farming.
  • Strong knowledge of soil fertility, manure use, weed identification, crop disease, and crop rotation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and farming practices.
