UF Health-Central Florida is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CVT to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for monitoring procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.
  • Ensure safe patient care and function as a scrub assistant.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
    • In lieu of the educational requirements, a minimum of five (5) years of experience and:
      • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (required within 12 months of hire) OR
      • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (required within 12 months of hire).
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR
    • FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred).
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
