Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team in Walnut Creek, California.

Job Details
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while exploring the beautiful city of Walnut Creek.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
