POSITION SUMMARY:

The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for executing Cat Scan procedures with a high level of expertise and independence. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional patient care and support while contributing to the operational efficiency of the department. The specialist will utilize established techniques to perform Cat Scan procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients, colleagues, and themselves.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possession of an Associate's degree or equivalent education (2 years of college)
  • In-depth knowledge of a specialized field
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist in Maryland, with advanced CT certification.
