Nurse Care Specialist

As a Nurse Care Specialist at MUSC, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality nursing services to patients across various age groups and acuity levels.
About the Role:
Working closely with the healthcare team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. This includes coordinating care for patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare providers, and promoting a safe and healing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care
- Care for surgical patients, including those with multi-system needs
- Lead and direct assigned team members, promoting a culture of professionalism and teamwork
Requirements:
- Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
- Current BLS certification
Salary Information:
