Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction activities and operational functions throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources in collaboration with project managers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
  • Implement quality control programs, identify any issues or delays, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
  • Manage construction materials, ensuring that they are properly received, stored, and maintained.
  • Resolve any problems that may arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction management or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, quality control, construction planning, materials management, and building codes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
