Role Responsibilities

Key Contributions

The Collateral Risk - Risk Management - Senior Associate position will provide you with the autonomy to manage your daily tasks while working alongside dedicated individuals to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identify business sectors that may present risks to the organization.
  • Assess the implications of identified risks on the organization.
  • Document and report on procedures to mitigate risks and pinpoint control deficiencies.
  • Organize, document, track, monitor, and report on a diverse range of operational data.
  • Recommend strategies to enhance unit performance or operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives.
  • Monitor key deliverables, organize stakeholder meetings, and facilitate communication.
  • Support the development and testing of new systems, applications, and reports.
  • Establish improved methods for organizing, maintaining, and accessing documentation related to policies, processes, or tools.
  • Complete assigned policy and process tasks.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills

Minimum Required Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of appraisal concepts, valuation processes, and industry challenges
  • Proficiency in English grammar and syntax

Essential Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects or initiatives and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Risk Assessment and Management skills, including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, and identifying control gaps.
  • Documentation and reporting skills for analysis, data discovery, and decision-making using relevant software.
  • Effective presentation skills to convey information and ideas engagingly and understandably.
  • Proficient in managing project plans, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Influencing skills, including negotiation, persuasion, facilitation of meetings, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions.
  • Relationship Management skills, including stakeholder engagement and building relationship networks.
  • Experience in assisting organizations with planning and managing change to meet strategic objectives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds to achieve common goals.
  • Business acumen in visually representing information through charts, diagrams, and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Technical Proficiency

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Experienced with SharePoint
  • Skilled in Confluence and JIRA
  • Experienced in using scheduling software for meetings or events
