About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at ICTS (UK). As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing front-line customer service, reception, and security support to customers, visitors, and colleagues in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors, issuing keys, badges, and other security credentials.
  • Patrol the site on foot to gather data on activities and detect stock loss.
  • Conduct bag and body searches using hand-held metal detectors.
  • Screen people using walk-through scanners.
  • Investigate and deal professionally with incidents.
  • Respond to customer requests and queries.
  • Maintain records using computer- and paper-based systems.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.

Our Expectations:

  • Maintain Client and ICTS quality control standards and company procedures.
  • Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and property.
  • Act within the Company authorities and procedures as set out.
  • Promote ICTS and the client in a positive manner.
  • Undertake any other reasonable functions as required by the client.

Requirements:

  • Good IT and keyboard skills, report writing, reception, and visitor management.
  • The ability to think on your feet in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organisational and administration skills.
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English (other languages an advantage).
  • Computer literacy - e.g., MSWord, Excel, and bespoke mobile platforms.
  • Previous security experience would be an advantage.
  • Flexible team-working skills, with the ability to communicate with the client, managers, and colleagues.
