Job Summary

The Event Staff role at Westfield is a seasonal position that requires a high level of customer service and hospitality expertise. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing facilities for events and providing food service at our hospitality centers. This includes greeting and seating customers, serving meals, directing customers to and answering questions about the food and beverages offered, setting and clearing tables, room preparation, and resetting event space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare facilities and provide food service at our hospitality centers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Work closely with the event management team to plan, organize, and execute various events, including setting up and resetting event spaces.
  • Maintain product and equipment for dining rooms and meeting spaces, reporting any issues or repairs needed to the leader.
  • Interact with guests by directing them to their meeting rooms, assisting with food and beverage needs, and answering questions thoroughly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism at all times, adhering to Hospitality Universal Standards and Experience Maps.
  • Communicate with the culinary team to gain information about menus and provide necessary information for dietary restrictions.
  • Document any changes or updates to events and communicate with the Manager on Duty.
  • Attend training sessions as required and comply with all OSHA and safety/training/certification standards.

Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Availability from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm is required; other availability outside of these hours is a bonus.
