Dining Room Server

Summary: Provides exceptional customer service by taking food and beverage orders and delivering items to dining room guests in a timely and efficient manner.

• Prominently greets guests in the dining room and takes food and beverage orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Delivers food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Communicates effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills and demonstrates ability to work well with others, remaining flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
• Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests, adhering to established sanitation standards.
• Ensures the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods, keeping the area clean and neat.
• Operates various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborates with staff from other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
