Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Scrap Metal Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our recycling kingdom, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, separating the good from the not-so-good, and ensuring everything meets our high standards for quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure quality and compliance
  • Separate materials into different categories
  • Use a tablet to record and track data
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Communicate effectively using hand signals and two-way radios

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use a tablet
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ferrous and nonferrous metals
  • Experience working in a scrap yard
