Job Title: Host/Hostess (AT&T Discovery District)

The Host position at Legends Hospitality is a dynamic role that requires exceptional guest service skills while working collectively and cooperatively in the Premium Service Department, specifically in the Restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Exhibit professional and courteous behavior at all times, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Present a neat and tidy appearance while adhering to uniform standards, reflecting the Legends Hospitality brand.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, all levels of management, and co-workers, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain the proper care of equipment and food & beverage items, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the district, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered, ensuring accurate and informed recommendations.
  • Set up and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area, adhering to Legends Hospitality's high standards.
  • Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties, ensuring a seamless transition between shifts.
  • Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the district, providing guests with a comprehensive experience.
Qualifications:
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, meeting the minimum age requirement.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English Language in order to communicate with guests, ensuring effective communication.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, meeting the physical demands of the role.
  • Ability to work all District events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant, meeting the experience requirement.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred, meeting the educational requirement.
