Work Schedule

Full-time position, 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 5 days a week, with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.

Availability: Must be available on Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday to Friday requires flexibility to work rotating shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and occasionally from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $15.00 to $19.00, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging our delicious, organic recipes for sale at our various locations. Your duties will include:

  • Hands-on preparation and production of a variety of grab-and-go items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, entrees, and sides.
  • Packaging, weighing, and pricing all food items produced in the commissary.
  • Fulfilling store orders and preparing items for delivery.
  • Utilizing necessary kitchen equipment such as food processors and meat slicers.
Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume commercial kitchen production is preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety protocols.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks during peak times.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Full sensory range (vision, hearing, and smell) is required for quality control and communication.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to stoop, squat, and kneel to access items on shelves.
  • Frequent walking to transport items within the kitchen.
  • Prolonged standing is necessary.
  • Ability to work in cold environments, including coolers and freezers, and handle cold products regularly.
