About the Role:

  • This Certified Nursing Assistant will provide personal care and designated health-related services to residents, following established procedures and performance standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality and dignity when interacting with residents.
  • This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and medication administration.
  2. Provide physical care to residents, monitoring vital signs and providing Range of Motion exercises, while encouraging independence and dignity.
  3. Respond appropriately to safety hazards, call lights, requests, and reassignment of duties.
  4. Report changes in resident's physical condition, behavior, and level of independent functioning to the nurse.
  5. Assist with admissions and discharges, and accurately complete required documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
  • Current valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance (if applicable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
  • Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility
