Job Summary and QualificationsIn your role as a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring vital signs and administering medications and nutrients to newborns.
- Providing continuous care for premature and critically ill infants.
- Utilizing advanced NICU equipment to support at-risk newborns.
- Delivering life-sustaining interventions.
- Ensuring proper respiratory function and development of infants.
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding daily care and home procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
