Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: 1 to 3 years of nursing experience
- Knowledge in cardiac telemetry, EKG analysis, and exercise recommendations for clinical patients in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
The practice of professional nursing encompasses the following duties:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments to establish collaborative care plans.
- Develop tailored exercise prescriptions and treatment strategies for patients in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient telemetry and vital signs during exercise sessions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and coordinate integrated care plans.
- Execute nursing care through independent actions and interventions prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Ensure safe and effective nursing care and environment.
- Promote health, prevent disease, coordinate care, and identify cases.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthcare policies and procedures.
- Manage information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
