Overview:

KJ's Market is a family-owned and growing company that offers weekly pay, flexible schedules, and excellent benefits. We are seeking a skilled Cashier PT to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Process guests' orders accurately to ensure proper recording of sales.
  • Handle all monies and tender to guarantee proper accounting of all transactions.
  • Properly bag guests' orders, place in cart or hand to guests, and follow KJ's Market carryout practices.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to grow the community.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Direct guests into their lane to maintain customer flow and achieve the Guests Arrival standard.
  • Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Estimated Salary: $18-$22 per hour

Qualifications:

  • A friendly and outgoing personality.
  • The ability to work well with others.
  • The ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 15 lbs constantly.
  • The ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Demonstrated successful use of math skills.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Effective communication and guest service skills.
  • The ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
  • The ability to bend and lift to load customers' orders into cars.
