We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pine Acres in Madison. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist CNAs in performing ADLs and routine care.
- Conduct resident/patient treatments.
- Administer medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.
- Submit pharmacy orders.
- Accurately document and record all information.
- Give injections of medication as prescribed.
- Observe resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Provide basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.
- Manage IVs, start IV drips.
- Monitor fluid/food intake and output.
- Observe and report resident accidents, incidents, and skin breakdowns.
- Assist as directed in the admissions process.
