Job Summary

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper Full Time Position to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Housekeeping Duties: Provide daily housekeeping services to patients/residents, including cleaning floors, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Cleaning Schedules: Closely follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment and work areas as assigned by the Housekeeping/EVS Manager.
  • Safety and Security: Follow defined safety codes while performing all duties and understand facility's fire and disaster plans.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, residents, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is desired.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; general knowledge of cleaning and infection prevention; and ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the working day; reach, stoop, bend, lift, carry, and work with housekeeping supplies and equipment.
Work Environment

This position requires lifting up to forty pounds (40lbs) and working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to patients, residents, and staff.
